DR Electrical was started in Leicester, in 1971 by Leonardo De Rienzo, who was a trained electrical engineer. Automatic washing machines were just being introduced into the market and he was one of the first engineers in the local area to offer repairs to these new appliances.

 

As demand grew, the company expanded from a simple but affective man-and-van repair company to employing several engineers covering all of the midlands
