Spin Dryers
A spin dryer is an energy-efficient choice for drying your clothes that can save both energy and time. While regular tumble dryers use heat to dry clothes, a spin dryer uses centrifugal force instead. A spin dryer isn’t designed to completely dry your clothes, but it does remove a large proportion of moisture, allowing you to air dry your laundry for a fraction of the time. Spinning at approximately 3200 revolutions per minute, a spin dryer removes as much water in just 2-3 minutes as a conventional dryer does in 25-35 minutes! With fewer mechanical parts, a spin dryer takes up less space in your home, has a lower upfront cost and uses less energy than a standard tumble dryer.
